People who have never grown a plant when looking at a seed
People who have never grown a plant look at a seed and complain that it is not a tree.
When the first leaf appears, they say, “Just one leaf? Ridiculous. A tree has thousands of leaves.”
When more leaves come, they say, “But the trunk is still thin and weak.”
Time passes.
Then, once the tree finally stands, they say, “See? That’s what I was saying all along. We needed a thick trunk and thousands of leaves.”
